This hymn book is used in practically all Somali Christian gatherings.
These songs are composed and set to music by Somali Christians themselves. Most of them are inspired by real traditional Somali melodies. That is why they are close to the heart of the Somali.
In the book, each song is translated into English and there is an explanation of the Somali words used.
Some of these songs are also translated into English in such a way that they can be sung. These can be found on the website of Songs2Serve.eu
All the songs can also be found on noloshacusub.com as MP3 recordings with the text.
An appendix in the book also contains Psalm 23, the confession of faith, the Lord’s prayer, the Ten Commandments and the blessing of Aron.
